  • Kitchens are available only on a limited basis and assigned per group. Assigned kitchens will be posted
  • Kitchens are not equipped with any cooking utensils

Telephone

There are direct dial phones in each room. You can call room to room or anywhere on campus by dialing the last 5 digits of the phone number (2-XXXX or 4-XXXX). To make outside local or long distance calls you must dial a 9 + the calling card number and follow the instructions. You are also allowed to make a collect call. Cellular phones are permitted in the Residence Halls.

Mail

Mail can be received and delivered to you during your stay. Mail received after your departure will be returned to sender. The mail will need to be addressed in the following manner:

Mail notices will be posted at the Central front desk and mail can be picked up at the Central Mail Room Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am and 5pm.

Parking

To obtain a temporary parking permit, you or your host should contact the Parking Office at 702-8969 for current location and parking rates. Please note: all University parking lots are free from 4pm to 7:50am

Printing

Each computer lab will be equipped with a printer for guest’s use. If the printer is out of paper, please see the front desk for assistance.

Computer Use

Computer labs are open the entire summer and can be used by any member of any group. There will be a posted log-in and password in the computer lab that all guests can use to access the computers. If you wish to access our wireless network, your conference's coordinator should have provided to you a list of Meeting IDs. Each day there is a new Meeting ID. When you start up your computer, you will be taken to a wireless registration page. In the user name field, type that day's Meeting ID and you should be able to connect. If you experience problems, please report to the front desk for assistance. Ethernet cables are not provided.

In all Palevsky buildings, the coin-operated machines are located on the first floor just beyond the security door.

Linens

Linens will be provided during your stay. Sheets and towels can be exchanged every Friday between the hours of 7am and 9am at the front reception area of Max Palevsky Central. PLEASE NOTE: Pillow, bed spread, and bed pad should be left on the bed for the duration of your stay.
