Stony Island Hall
Commonly called “Stony”, this five-floor apartment building with elevator was built in 1988. Each apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a full kitchen, large living room and balcony for each apartment. Apartments have excellent views of a park across the street, the Museum of Science and Industry, and Lake Michigan beyond. All floors are co-ed. It is served by the campus bus system and sits on a major CTA downtown bus route, as well as being a few minutes walk from the Metra line (downtown train).
“Stony Island is a fantastic community--a luxurious dorm in which students can form deep bonds. We can have get-togethers in our living rooms, cook in our kitchens, hang out on our balconies, or go for delicious snacks at study breaks, and of course we can visit Christine, Jody and their sweet family. This is absolutely the best dorm to live in. ”
