Broadview Hall boasts a huge, beautiful lobby, as well as a large community kitchen and adjacent dining room, game room, library, and computer lab. Student/faculty dinners, study breaks, and other hall events are held in a large living-room suite. The Houses also frequently sponsor trips downtown to cultural performances, including symphony, opera, and theater. All floors are co-ed. The Broadview, originally built as a hotel, is a six-floor building with an elevator. All floors are co-ed; mostly single bedrooms, some doubles and one or two freshman-triple rooms in each House. This is a four-class residence hall with about 100 first-year students.

Location:One block north of the Museum of Science and Industry, close to shops, restaurants, Metra trains and the main downtown CTA bus route. A fifteen-minute walk from the main campus quadrangles; served by the campus bus system. Room Arrangements:Mostly single bedrooms, some doubles and one or two freshman-triple rooms in each House. All are carpeted and every room has a private bath (most have showers, some have tubs), ranging from 8.5’ X 14.5’ to 14.5’ X 16’. Houses: |
